What floor type does Games stores use in their furniture and sports sections shop floor?
It looks like a fully lamintated floor and has an imitation wood finish.
In Pretoria it is in the Brooklyn and centurion floors.
Go have a look for yourselves.
Please let me know where I can source this floor type.

Material for suspended floor
The top floor of our house was made out of chipboard, however this need replaceing because of water damage. I do not want to use chipboard again.
Can anyone tell recommend a better material to use for a suspended floor in a house. Needs to be waterproof as the toilet is upstairs.

Hi there, Another option is supawood coated with hot wax, covered by a resilent floor, however it would be best to avoid water from settling on this floor.

Material for suspended floor
Try 18mm Commercial Plywood. Available from most builders merchants or you can try Citiwood Group.

Sub Floor
Hi
You get better options than chip board, like plywood and high and medium density fibre boards. Some of these products are treated against moisture or water.
We do not specialise in this field and it will be best to ask places like Timbercity or Builders Warehouse about this, also ask them about OSB boards as these are water resistant and very strong.
