The Inovar Floor® distributor network was first established in 1998 and has been active in the furniture industry as major a national supplier for the past 13 years.

The strategy to distribute wooden flooring as a D.I.Y. product proved that the product required a specialist installer/sales team, without the use of sub-contractors. To this end, Finfloor, in September 1998, set up the first of a chain of independent specialist distributors, with their own exclusive brand/product range, hence the launch of Inovar Floor®, with the aim of having specialist distributors who are both responsible and accountable for both the product and installation. To achieve this no Inovar Floor distributor is allowed to use any sub-contract installation teams, but may use each other's teams in the event of a national contract, to ensure that the quality standards are maintained nationally. Inovar Floor offers a 25-year surface wear-through warranty for heavy domestic applications and a 5-year surface wear -through warranty for general commercial applications, subject to fit-for-use grading and a 2-year workmanship warranty.

With this strategy Finfloor (SA) (PTY) Ltd was registered as a stand alone company in 1998 to be a specialist distributor of “Decorative Laminate” wooden flooring, enabling the company to supply both the specialist/exclusive brand Inovar Floor and to supply the general flooring trade with the Finfloor range/brand of flooring, with each range having its own colour range and identity.

In 2003, in line with overseas trends, the 'Woodline Parquetry' product was launched. This is a solid engineered wood product. This was to combat the confusion in the industry in respect of the “Decorative Laminate” flooring market.

In 2009, the “Allure – floating resilient vinyl flooring range” was introduced, a patented world first joining system which negates having to glue the flooring onto the sub-striate, as is done with other similar ranges.

The specialist distributor network consists of 28 outlets throughout South Africa and cross border, selling both Inovar Floor and Finfloor with a further 43 flooring outlets that sell, supply and install the Finfloor brand/product.

Inovar Floor outlets are situated in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Nelspruit, Cape Town, Stellenbosch/Somerset West, George, Port Elizabeth, Grahamstown, East London, Durban, Pietermaritzburg/KZN Midlands, Zululand, KZN South Coast, Newcastle KZN, Rustenburg, Klerksdorp, Lesotho, Vaal Triangle and Bloemfontein.

RESILIENT VINYL FLOORING
Allure is an innovative flooring concept which is easy to install and requires little to no sub-floor preparation. Just simply install it straight over most hard surfaces. This vinyl product is water resistant enabling it to be installed into areas which have a high moisture content.

SOLID ENGINEERED FLOORS
Our solid engineered wood flooring, Woodline Parquetry, is a high quality 3 layer cross ply system as opposed to multi-layers. Each has specific features which complement each other, providing improved resistance to wear. We carry
16 precious hardwood species available in South Africa.
Our solid engineered timber works on a free floating floor axis hence no glue needed when installing the timber and can be easily installed as a DIY.
Each style of timber is pre finished either in a super matt, gloss or oiled finish creating the rustic feel in ones home.
